Beautiful Bellagio
Did you know that legendary hotelier Steve Wynn based the design of his iconic Las Vegas hotel on a small resort town on Lake Como? The resort town is called Bellagio and I was excited to visit Bellagio during our 4th of July boating adventure. On approach to the resort you understand exactly why Mr. Wynn was so enamored of the small town on the lake–its simplicity and beauty take your breath away. Bellagio streets are filled with charming boutiques and hotels with wonderful little cafes right on the water. We easily spent a few hours just people watching while having a glass of reasonably priced vino and enjoying the general splendor of it all. It’s true what they say, life’s simple pleasures are the best.
