Lake Como

Paddleboarding was very popular the weekend we spent on Lake Como, but rather than paddleboard, I “popped a squat” underneath a mammoth Magnolia tree and watched the speedboats race by as I read fellow Mississippian Kathryn Stockett’s The Help. A few hours spent on a speed boat with friends was great fun and I got to see some beautiful palazzos along the lake. For a glimpse at how the other half lives on Lake Como, here are a few images taken by the lady on the lake (me!). If they are a wee bit crooked, forgive me, it was 4th of July and we were celebrating our nation’s independence!
