America’s Got Talent

The November issue of Harper’s Bazaar will be of great interest to Zavvi Rodaine’s readers because there is a wonderful feature on our First Lady Michelle Obama. The article by Laura Brown highlights Mrs. O’s efforts to celebrate American art and culture with programs like the White House Dance Series and cross-cultural exchanges between our talented youth and youth from other countries. I personally enjoyed the photo shoots which included talented performers from Washington, DC’s Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Howard University, Joy of Motion Dance Center, Bhangra Empire, and New York’s Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. (And in case you’re wondering fashionistas, Mrs. O’s dress is by L’wren Scott.)
