DC Design House 2011
I love it when one of my passions aligns with a great cause, and this year’s DC Design House benefiting the Children’s National Medical Center fits the bill. Last year’s event introduced me to interior designer Barbara Franceski and this year I am excited to see the design work of other designer favorites like Liz Levin, Iantha Carley, and Erin Paige Pitts.
Mark your calendars for April 9th because it’s opening day, but you have until May 8th to visit the totally transformed English Country Tudor home originally built in 1925 for Charles Woodward, founder of the legendary Woodward & Lothrop department store in Washington, DC. And if you love what you see, you can buy the Forest Hills home for a mere $4.9 million!
