McQueen’s Savage Beauty II

I’ve made no secret about the fact that I, like many others who respect the art of fashion, followed closely and greatly admired the work of the late Alexander McQueen. Unfortunately, I did not make it to New York this summer, so I didn’t have the opportunity to see the Met’s exhibit Savage Beauty in person. I was thrilled to discover the video below and wanted to share it with y’all.

Theatrical. Sophisticated. Creative. Inspiring. Genius. So many, many words inform Alexander’s work, but I think the most apropos description is truly one-of-a-kind because there will never be another Alexander McQueen.

And a special congratulations to the Met’s curator, Andrew Bolton who clearly did an incredible job creating a magnificent exhibition that will be talked about forever.
