Washington, DC is quiet for now. Silly season has abated until after Labor Day. The DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) residents are heading to East Coast beaches for that last summer hurrah while tourists take over city streets and crowd into museums and monuments to celebrate the best of Americana. What a relief. Some semblance of normalcy…at least for the next couple of weeks. So, wade in…the water’s fine and enjoy these last days of summer!
