“Did Demarchelier confirm?”

That, of course, was a favorite question posed by Miranda Priestly to her young and very green assistant in the fashion cult classic The Devil Wears Prada. And any self proclaimed fashionista worth the price of her Loubis knew that Miranda was inquiring, of course, about legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

For those of us who follow fashion, Patrick Demarchelier’s work is greatly admired because over the decades Mr. Demarchelier has created some of the most iconic images in fashion and beauty. Working with every top magazine around the world photographing models wearing the fashion du jour, Mr. Demarchelier became known for his exquisite eye and attention to detail.
