No Kid Hungry by 2015

I’ve learned over the years that when I am more giving and focused on helping others, I’m happier and put less emphasis on insignificant, petty issues, so as we start the new year, I hope that you will consider changing your “what is happiness” perspective by counting your blessings and focusing on helping others even if it’s in a small way. A good start would be to volunteer some free time or donating the equivalent of your Starbucks budget to a worthy cause like Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry by 2015 campaign.

Share Our Strength is a non-profit organization that works to insure that all of our nation’s children have access to healthy, nutritious meals where they live, learn and play. Share Our Strength not only provides meals for these children but SOS programs also teach struggling families how to cook healthy, affordable meals as well. So, every dollar you give connects a child with up to 10 meals in a real and meaningful way. Let’s help end child hunger by 2015. I promise you’ll feel better for it. Thank you!
