L’Wren on the Left Bank
Whenever I see a story about an American living in Paris, I can’t resist. I mean, who wouldn’t want a pied-a-terre near the Champs Elysees in the City of Light? When I saw this chic apartment that former model and fashion designer L’WREN SCOTT decorated for herself and Mick Jagger in Vogue, I just had to share it with you. The apartment clearly has great Parisian bones and high ceilings and I love the mix of antiques, clean-lined furniture and modern art that L’wren chose which all together create a sophisticated, yet relaxing retreat in the heart of Paris.
Damien Hirst’s Dots painting + Medieval wooden saint in the Drawing Room.
Grey lacquer chairs + Christophe Delcourt table in the Dining Room.
Antique mirrors + Mercury candlesticks on a Mantel in the Dining Room.
Gold Leaf Mirror + French figurines on a chest in the Dining Room.
Jade Jagger artwork + Andre Arbus armoire in the Drawing Room.
Fashion monographs + Feather Masks in the Library.
Andy Warhol’s Mao print + Tristan Auer bench in the Entry Hall.
Andy Warhol’s Mick Jagger + Antique Desk & Chairs in the Office.
Sherbet-colored walls + Starburst Mirrors in a Hallway.
A Suzani bedspread + Francesco Clemente art in the Bedroom.
My favorite room: 1926 Art Deco Lalique glass in the Master Bath.
