Brown by Design
To bookend yesterday’s post on the brilliance of brown, I thought I’d share an example of how a brown color palette transformed a bachelor’s home in New Orleans.
Decorated by Los Angeles and New Orleans interior designer OLIVIA ERWIN ROSENTHAL, the living area was divided into two separate seating areas and is filled with chic furnishings and abundant light. The adjacent dining room is decorated simply, but seats ten, perfect for entertaining. Olivia used cognac, chocolate brown and taupe in fabrics, furniture and accessories throughout creating a living space that is grounded and comfortably chic.
