Grunge 2.0 in Vogue Paris
When the collections were presented last spring I mentioned how designers were sneaking elements of grunge back onto the runways and how I was nonplussed about it. I didn’t get grunge the first time around and I hoped that grunge would dissolve into the recesses of fashion history. Imagine my surprise when I saw the September issue of Vogue Paris and it’s dedicated to…you guessed it…grunge! It seems Emmanuelle Alt has given grunge the ultimate stamp of approval. Grunge 2.0. Oh, well. Ce la vie.
