After Midnight

In the 1920s, The Cotton Club was the hot spot in New York City showcasing legendary talents like Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Lena Horne and Sammy Davis Jr. Now, thanks to co-creator and musical director Wynton Marsalis, The Cotton Club returns to Broadway in the much-anticipated AFTER MIDNIGHT.

After Midnight will feature the glamourous Jazz Age updated for the 21st century by celebrating the Duke Ellington years at the Cotton Club using Duke’s original arrangements set against Langston Hughes’ poetry.

With costumes designed by Isabel and Ruben Toledo and a stellar cast and special guests like Adriane Lenox, Babyface and K.D. Lang, After Midnight is guaranteed to be the hottest ticket in town. Previews begin on October 18 starring Fantasia and Dulé Hill accompanied by Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars.
