Kate Hume II
When I introduced you to Amsterdam designer KATE HUME in 2011, I showed you a pied-a-terre in the heart of Moscow that Kate designed for a growing family of five. It had a subtle color palette that served as the back drop to the couple’s 20th century Russian art collection. Today, I’m sharing another favorite from Kate’s portfolio which also happens to be in Moscow and is kind of fitting since the Sochi Olympics have been front and center the past couple of weeks. This time, however, Kate decorated the modern home with a rather unique color pairing—soft blue and burnt orange.
