SO, now that I’ve had this album in rotation for a couple of months, I can honestly say that EMELI SANDÉ is at the top of my list of favorite artists at the moment. Usually sophomore albums fail to live up to the hype of a well-received debut, but EMELI’S abilities as a songwriter and vocalist are heavenly and make me smile every. single. time. During times of tremendous change, music is a great escape and welcome comfort. My only complaint is that EMELI has no plans to tour the USA yet, so if her PR reps are reading this, make it happen!
