‘Let The Man Dance’

There’s never been a time in my life when dance hasn’t held my imagination in complete rapture. I long for the first snowy weekend of the season so I can do a marathon of my favorite dance films. Lately, I’ve been thinking alot about GREGORY HINES and the brilliant way he improvised movement, speed, and just going with the flow of emotion or music. GREGORY made it look so easy when it absolutely requires an abundance of talent and skill. He’s one of the best ever, just watch this opening scene from TAP — a movie filled with dance legends — and be dazzled.
