Italian Bliss: Lake Como
Paddleboarding was very popular the weekend we spent on LAKE COMO, but rather than paddleboard on my first afternoon on the lake, I “popped a squat” underneath a mammoth Magnolia tree and watched the speed boats race by as I read fellow Mississippian Kathryn Stockett’s The Help.
On another afternoon, a few hours spent on a speed boat with friends was great fun and I got to see some beautiful palazzos along the lake.
Here are a few images taken by me, the lady on the lake, so if they are a wee bit crooked, forgive me, it was 4th of July and we were celebrating our nation’s independence!
