One of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris is St. Germaine des Pres. My girlfriends and I like to wander the neighborhood and we always pop into DIPTYQUE for what I feel are the best candles in the world. DIPTYQUE candles are expensive, but every holiday season I treat myself to a couple as a Christmas present. There’s nothing like a warm fire, Chris Botti’s December playing in the background, and the scent of a DIPTYQUE candle filling the room. I like to burn different combinations together like Feuille de Lavande and Opopanax, but if I had to choose just one it would be Baies. Baies is fruity with a hint of black current leaves.
