It’s a bit cliché to say “everything old is new again”, but all fashion passionates know this to be true and that was evident on the red carpet this past weekend. I was catching up on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge adventures in Los Angeles and started reviewing red carpet images of guests at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event when I saw the beautiful BLAKE LIVELY wearing this gown by MARCHESA.

I thought: lovely, gorgeous, but where have I seen this gown before? It didn’t take long to figure out since I have a bit of closet envy for the person who wore a similar version to the Oscars in 2003. It was JENNIFER LOPEZ in a one-shoulder VALENTINO gown inspired by Jackie Kennedy. So, it’s true…everything old is new again.
