The House of Annie Lennox

The line up of fascinating exhibitions continues to grow and I wish that I could see them all. The Victoria & Albert Museum in London has announced a retrospective of the life + times of ANNIE LENNOX starting this September through February 2012.

The exhibit The House of Annie Lennox will feature costumes, photographs, and personal memorabilia as well as pre-recorded interviews and music videos created over Annie’s 40 year career.

Since she first came on the music scene with the Eurythmics, Annie has garnered praise for her soulful voice and was named one of the top 100 greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone. Annie has sold over 80 million records worldwide, but she’s also known for her fearless fashion sense and her tireless dedication to issues like AIDS in Africa, Greenpeace and Amnesty International.

So, what’s my favorite Annie Lennox song?

Sweet dreams are made of these
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody’s looking for something
Hold your head up
Keep your head up
Movin’ on.

Now tell me, what’s your favorite song by Annie?
