At Home with Nam Dang-Mitchell
ON MONDAY, I’ll share my very insightful interview with the lovely Canadian designer NAM DANG MITCHELL. Readers of Canada’s House & Home are familiar with Nam’s gorgeous designs, but for those of you who may not be, I thought I’d preview one of her most sophisticated and detail-oriented projects which also happens to be the home Nam designed for her family. Nam’s design’s are contemporary, yet timeless and it’s in a style I like to call down-to-earth glamour.
Nam’s spacious living room was photographed from several angles, this angle features a set of brass tables that I love.
I love the unexpected drama from the Pindler & Pindler “Karabel” fabric in Nam’s daughter’s room.
A turret turned into a Reader’s Nook.
In Nam’s den, I love the Ceruse oak daybed by Steven Sclaroff and the quirkiness of the 1930s stool covered in Mongolian lambskin.
