Vogue Editor-in-Chief and Gala Host: Ms. Anna Wintour in Prada

Last night I watched the live stream of the Met Gala arrivals and I must say that host Elettra Wiedemann was charming and did a fabulous job. A-list attendees and guests from the arts, business, entertainment, fashion, sports and the New York social set gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations and the fashion on the red carpet was splendid eye candy with gorgeous gowns by Mrs. Prada and other top designers.

Co-Host Carey Mulligan looked sensational wearing Prada.

Brooke Shields earned a spot because she was one of the first to arrive, with a walking cane and injured foot, and she deftly hobbled and maneuvered the very steep stairs and posed patiently for the paparazzi who were less than charming.
