Body Beautiful

I heard something thought-provoking the other day:

Skinny women look great in clothes, fit women look better naked.

The #1 new year’s resolution that (most) everyone adopts is to get in shape. It’s also the resolution that most people fail to achieve due to hectic lives which leave us exhausted or with little free time. The thing we all need to remember is that no one stays 100% motivated all the time.

In fact, my go to fitness advisor Kim (you wouldn’t believe the crazy questions I’ve asked her over the years) is always very matter of fact about tackling exercise one day at a time, one stubborn pound at a time, making better food choices and using food as fuel. Before long, 15 minutes turns into 30 and 30 turns into 45 and you’re craving healthy food. But, here’s the tough love:

It will hurt.
It will take time.

It will require dedication.
It will require willpower.

You will need to make healthier decisions.
It will require some sacrifice.

You will need to push your body to its max.
You will have to resist temptation.

But when you reach your goal, it will be totally worth it!
