One Look: Balmain

PARIS FASHION WEEK is about imagining, putting yourself in the model’s shoes and asking: who is she, where is she going, who does she want to be?

Understanding this, of course, there were still several collections that left me scratching my head. Of course those were the exact ones that fashion editors gushed over which made me scratch my head even more AND question their motivation. However there were some truly beautiful collections that struck just the right notes for spring. Collections where I imagined myself or my best girlfriends strutting and flitting about thoroughly happy to be wearing the clothes.

So, as often as Paris Fashion Week requires us to suspend reality, for the most part designers got it right presenting several wearable options perfect for spring.
