Here’s the unspoken secret about holiday music: Not all holiday albums are created equal, everyone does one, and most feel thrown together because it is extremely hard to record a classic album like Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song or Mariah’s Merry Christmas, but Wrapped in Red by KELLY CLARKSON is a winner. I’ve always loved the soulfulness in Kelly’s voice whether she’s singing Classics, Country, Pop or R&B and Kelly’s a southern girl, so there’s that gospel tinge to her performances that I love too. Wrapped in Red is already in heavy rotation at my home this Christmas season.
