The Church of Light in Osaka
My family has a small chapel that’s mostly used for final goodbyes and I’ve always loved its calmness and simplicity. Some of the most beautiful architectural gems are sacred spaces and you don’t have to be religious to be moved by their beauty.
Every since I posted Tom Ford’s ranch, my Hubby and I have been fascinated with the work of Japanese architect TADAO ANDO, so when I saw this chapel that Tadao designed to maximize light through the cut-out cross, I was inspired to share it with you. Built in Osaka, in 1989, the CHURCH OF LIGHT has a feeling of peace and serenity and it’s an ideal sacred space to reflect and connect with the greater good.
