JANET HAIGH is considered one of England’s best embroiderers and I find her cross-craft techniques where she combines various materials to create unique art so fascinating. Her series of hand-stitched silk panels form a satire charting our early attempts to control nature β with mixed consequences; from bigger and more beautiful flowers in strange colours, to more modern and troublesome results.
