the sun and her flowers. RUPI KAUR is a female empowerment hero on social media and deservedly so. Of course her fragmented verse and over-simplicity of subject courts controversy, but Rupi has over 4 million Instagram followers and sold thousands of her first book, so the 31 year old is a voice women are drawn too. Rupi’s book of poems will ignite thought, reflection and fierceness. If that inspires just one young girl or woman to greatness, I’m all for it.
what’s the greatest lesson a woman should learn?
that since day one. she’s already had everything she needs within herself.
it’s the world that convinced her she did not.
