A Mexican Retreat

Now that Spring has arrived, here’s an oldie, but goodie courtesy of KARA MANN whose design ethos runs the gamut from modern to traditional with a bit of edge. Originally published in Western Interiors years ago, KARA decorated this home in Mexico connecting the indoors and outdoors in a palette of varied whites, pops of color and her trademark intriguing accessories.

What I Love: The simplicity + elegance of an all-white living room.

What I Love: The brick fireplace + architectural high-back chair with nailhead trim.

What I Love: The wood + iron coffee table topped with oversized accessories.

What I Love: A perfect porch for relaxing or hanging out.

What I Love: Dining Al Fresco with an ocean breeze.

What I Love: An indoor-outdoor master bedroom with balcony.

Another view of the master bedroom styled without the sofa.

What I Love: The dark + moody master bath with shuttered windows.

What I Love: The four poster bed + arched wood windows with lush sea views.
