Architectural gem. Historic landmark. Old world design. THE BEEKMAN in New York City is one of the chicest hotels to open in the Big Apple in a long time. As a frequent traveler to NYC, you couldn’t pay me to stay downtown near the financial district, but THE BEEKMAN might change that because on a recent visit I could not have been more impressed. It’s definitely on trend with other soulful stays I’ve recommended, however the rooms, while comfortably appointed, are not as plush as expected, but no matter with really good restaurants by Tom Colicchio and Keith McNally and luxe interiors by Martin Brudnizki, THE BEEKMAN will continue to be one of the most talked about and most Instagrammed hotels in 2017.
