Grace Kisa

Untitled

The first time I was able to purchase a piece of original art, I decided to follow my instincts and go with what felt right, so I walked around for almost an hour in a Georgetown gallery. I paced and paced, but I kept coming back to a piece titled ‘Mother and Child’ by GRACE KISA. ‘Mother and Child’ became my very first art purchase, I was so proud, and it still hangs in my entry hall today.

Of her work, Grace says , “In abstracts, I try to express the play between the lyrical and the minimal. The intent is to create images that go beyond the traditional surface to grasp the soul of things.”
