I was so excited when I received an invitation to KERRI MCCAFFETY’S book party at Jon Vaccari in New Orleans recently, so of course I was totally bummed when I realized that I would be out of town the day of the event.

I’ve always been a fan of Kerri’s lifestyle photography and appreciate Kerri’s eye and the exceptional way she captures the true heart and sophistication of New Orleans beyond the Michelin star restaurants and Mardi Gras celebrations.

In New Orleans New Elegance, Kerri captures the post-Katrina transformation of New Orleans through style and design. While the classic, traditional elements of New Orleans style remains, there’s a more contemporary and forward-thinking element to its design aesthetic now.

New Orleans New Elegance showcases the work of popular tastemakers like Holden & Dupuy, Bryan Batt,  Rodney Villarreal, Peter Patout, Jon Vaccari, Melissa Rufty, Gerrie Bremermann and Tanga Winstead. Kerri was kind enough to send some gorgeous photos from her new book to share with all of you. Congratulations, Kerri!
