Evelyne Clinton’s New Orleans

evelyne clinton2
EVELYNE CLINTON is a designing woman who travels the world searching for unique furnishings and accessories to stock her fabulous mid-century modern shop, Source, in New Orleans. Source is a design enthusiasts delight filled with French, Italian and Swedish antiques, modern lighting, unique gifts and Evelyne’s curated favorites from local artists as well.

Always the epitome of southern grace and style, Evelyne also has her pulse on the creme de la creme in the city, so I asked her to share city secrets for her hometown of New Orleans.

WHERE TO EAT

Gautreau’s Restaurant for amazing drinks, fabulous scallops and the best crème brulee.

Le Petite Grocery because I love their hamburgers and my favorite waitress is always there!

Mariza in the Bywater is very hip and cool. I love the black fettuccine with crabmeat and shrimp.

And then, there is always Pascale Manale’s where you stand around the oyster bar and eat fresh shucked oysters when they are in season.
